Each Day an Opportunity

Here's an old post.  I'm re-posting because it is still truth for me.  Blessings!

Every day is filled with opportunity.  And with opportunity comes choice.  The difficulty of choice is to be cognizant that it is there. 

Most of the time we breeze through the day never paying attention to the myriad of choices that we make. 

In each moment we can choose our behavior, our thoughts, our responses.  

We can choose to be sorrowful or joyful. 

We can choose to bear a grudge or forgive. 

We can choose to be gruff or to be patient.  

We can choose to be a rebel or comply.  

We can choose being kind over being mean-spirited.

Not all choices are easy.  Not all choices are cut-and-dry. 

For me, one thing is for sure.  Each day is an opportunity to choose to love.  I may not get it 100% right every day, but I choose to try.  I hope that you do too.
